If you have never smelled the beautiful, intoxicating aroma of authentic Jasmine flowers you don’t know what you’re missing. One of the finest and most precious oils in the world, like rose, it takes quite a bit of flower petals to create a useful amount of oil – 1000 pounds of blossoms (about 3.6 million fresh blossoms) to make one pound – to be exact, making it one of the most expensive oils available. Ours is the Jasmine sambac variety organically grown in in India and by far the sweetest, most beautiful Jasmine we have laid our noses on.
Only available in an absolute, a solvent extraction that takes with it the truest aroma of the flower itself. Used extensively in fine perfumes, but also in aromatherapy for its stress relieving, aphrodisiac and promotion of utter happiness and joy. In it’s pure form, it is very strong and almost difficult to appreciate and can be so intoxicating it can even cause headaches. Therefore, we offer it in a 10% dilution into organic jojoba oil that is easy to work with, aromatically perfect and much more affordable. Even as a dilution – a little goes a long way.
Known as ‘Queen of the Night’ and ‘Moonlight of the Grove’ – Jasmine is seductive, alluring, and stimulating and can restore hope and relieve apathy, leaving one excited and eager for things to come, allowing them to let go of fear and open their minds and hearts to possibility. Also a wonderful oil to support the higher chakras of the mind. It is a beautiful, enchanting perfume – we like to dab the dilution behind the ears to gain the emotional effects as well.
